. This book will come out in July, right after the movie release based on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book 5)
. People are predicting all sorts of things about Harry Potter 7, which is to be the last book in the series. The word is that one or more major characters, maybe even Harry Potter, will die in the book. So, what do you think? Will Harry die? Ron Weasley or Hermione Granger? Minerva McGonagall? How about Draco Malfoy, the boy we love to hate? And did Albus Dumbledore really die in Book 6?
And perhaps more importantly, will J.K. Rowling start another series, or write other books? Does she feel she has more to say, about the world of magic and muggles? Does Rowling feel content having more money than the Queen of England, or would she like to have even more than that? And of course, what or who will be on the cover?
Anyway, what do you think will happen? Please give me your comments. If your comment is SHORT and SWEET and deals with nothing other than the Harry Potter books and movies, I'll leave it up at least through July and we'll see what actually happens!

well i hope that it isnt the last harry potter, but most likely it is.
i was nearly crying when dumbledore died, but on the other hand i couldnt believe it, it kind of reminded me of lord of the rings when ; forgot his name; died and came back.
so i am still hoping that dumbledore will come back..
i thought it was cute that ron got with hermine but actually i was hoping that her and harry would get together..
well well.. hopefully draco will change his mind cause i think that he is not really as evil as he acts.
so maybe he will change in the next book.
BUT i wouldnt mind if snape would die..
he really disappointed me even tnough i always had the suspicion that he was still on voldemorts side.
I think it will be Harry and perhaps Draco that die. But as in all books with wizards and witches, I wonder if it will really be the end? Harry could end up as a ghost at the school, and help his friends in other stories. At least, I hope if he REALLY does die, that will be the way things are!
I think that they should rescue his godfather, Serius, and clear his name so that when Harry finishes school he can go live with him. This will give the series a happy ending and give Rowling a chance, should she decide to, write another book some time down the road.
Sirius is dead, as is Dumbledore. Neither of them are coming back--at least not as themselves. As ghosts, perhaps, and there is always Dumbledore's portrait.
And I'm not convinced that Snape is evil.
Oh we have been discussing this a lot at our house lately. Our theory is that Dumbledore is not dead, for several reasons, Mad Eye Moody taught them in the 4th book that if you didn’t really mean the Avada Kadava (sp?) curse you would just end up giving someone a nose bleed. At the end of the 7th book (we just read it again for the 2nd time) Harry wipes blood away from Dumbledore’s face at the bottom of the tower he had flown off. Another reason to disbelieve that Snape actually killed DD. Previous victims of the AK curse stayed right where they were, they didn’t fly off anywhere. We think that DD and Snape had a plan, knowing that Snape had to fulfill his unbreakable vow. But it is all a ruse, this frees up DD to find the remaining horcruxes.
I've been re-reading all 6 books. And this is wht I think is going to happen. We don't absolutely that 2 MAIN characters are going to die. But I think Voldemort is going to die. I think it would be pointless to kill Harry Because someone could start writing a book all about Vodemort.
1. Ok JKR announced that Petunia will NOT be the one to do magic later in life
2. i dont think Harry is the Horcrux but his scar is! it will end with Harry alive but his scar gone, after all the final word in the book is scar
3. Draco does not NOT want 2 be evil and will eventually team up with Harry.
4. Sirius is not dead, he fell behind the curtain in the department of mysteries and never reappeared
5. The room behind the veil is the deathly hallows and Harry must go there to save Sirius
6. Harry and Ginny wont end up together because she will die but before hand, Harry will confess his undying love to her
7. Snape is good because...Dumbledore would have known better
8. In an attempt to save Harry's life, Snape will die
9. Harry will face the final battle alone, like every other that he has faced, it will come down to a one on one battle although his friends will battle with the Death Eaters
10. Hermione and Ron will become and item
11. Happy will live and become an auror
12. JKR will write a brief ending summary of everyones lives and end with their deaths so that noone can ever write another book about them
13. Mrs. Figg is not who she appers to be
14. Someone VERY close to Harry will be placed under the imperious curse
15. A catastrophe will occur during Bill's wedding
16. RAB is without a doubt Dumbledores bro
17. Harry will return to Hogwarts
18. Hogwart will be invaded and the Order and DA will mostly manage to escape
19. Voldy will capture Cho and torture her, using Cedrics soul as a weapon, in attempt to get info about the DAs, and the Orders whereabouts
20. Destuction and deaths will be massive
21. the world will come full circle, the 1st book started with a celebration of Voldemorts death and the 7th book will end with one
22. Peter Pettigrew will be killed by Dumbledore
23. Pettigrews metal hard will kill Lupin
24. Lucius will die at the hand of Voldemort as he attempts to save his son
25. I will cry very hard when I read the last page!!!!!
